How is a vintage dirt bike defined? Is my 2010 BMW G450X vintage or modern?
By American Motorcycle Association class definitions your 2010 would be considered modern.
AMA Defines vintage as 1974 and older.
Other classes include:
Evolution - 1976 and older
Evo 1 - 7979 and older
Evo 2 - no linkage suspension, no water cooling and no disc brakes
Evo 3 - linkage suspension and water cooling but no disc brakes
Revolution 1 - 1998 and older
Rev 2 - 2008 & older
